The house, however, requirements A Whole Lot of function such as... - A new septic system - All new plumbing - All new wiring - A new roof (trusses and all, as the roof is about to collapse) - A new furnace That's only counting the repairs it wants to make it livable. That's not counting what we WANT to do to make the room even remotely nice. The layout is definitely horrible. We would want to knock down partitions and develop a new layout all together. This would consist of two new bogs AND a kitchen. I Am not looking for nearly anything tremendous fancy and costly this sort of as a 50K kitchen area rework with granite countertops and such. We were really contemplating getting cupboards off craigslist that have been taken out of someone's house. We Have noticed entire kitchens (cabinets, appliances, faucets, etc) for $2500 or less. We also prepare to do much of the operate ourselves. We have talked to a household good friend of ours who is a builder who is declaring even though it does need a great deal of work, he won't think it would be far more than 50K for a full remodel. I should not be questioning a builder, but is this Normal price? If you dwell out in the region and have carried out a total rework on a house, how considerably did you shell out all together?
